Built to support the goals of Vision 2030

Vision 2030 is a programme of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its logo is shown only to refer to it and does not mean endorsement by, or affiliation with, Tag’n’Track.
Digitise and automate, then show the proof
Vision 2030 asks Saudi organisations to run on digital records: electronic documents, real-time tracking, clear asset registers and efficient use of public money. Tag’n’Track is the platform that digitises and automates the work behind that: asset and stock registers, receiving and dispatch, maintenance checks, document custody and workforce access, all on one live record. Below are the Saudi and international rules that matter most, and how the platform helps you meet and show them.
The official Vision 2030 programmes include the Fiscal Sustainability Program, the Financial Sector Development Program and the Health Sector Transformation Program (Saudi Vision 2030 (official site)).
Rules and standards, and how we help
1. Digital trade and logistics
The rule: The National Transport and Logistics Strategy aims for faster clearance, electronic documents and real-time tracking. FASAH, run by ZATCA, is the national single window for trade, and ports use it for truck appointments and cargo data.
How Tag’n’Track helps: Track pallets, containers and vehicles from receiving to dispatch, with a scan record at each step, so the data you file matches the goods on your floor. Connect to your ERP through REST APIs and connectors.

2. E-invoicing (Fatoora)
The rule: ZATCA’s e-invoicing Phase 2 asks taxpayers, in waves, to integrate their invoicing systems with ZATCA. Check on the ZATCA site which wave applies to you.
How Tag’n’Track helps: Your ERP or invoicing system issues the invoice. Tag’n’Track gives it accurate, live stock and asset data, so what you invoice matches what you hold.

3. Government asset registers
The rule: The Ministry of Finance is running an initiative to inventory, control and value government assets, alongside the move to accrual accounting under IPSAS.
How Tag’n’Track helps: One live register with location, custodian and condition for every asset, and counts in minutes. Finance and audit get a record they can reconcile.

4. Medical devices and health
The rule: SFDA’s UDI rules require medical devices to carry a unique identifier. The Health Sector Transformation Program is one of the Vision Realization Programs.
How Tag’n’Track helps: Link each device’s identifier to its room, owner, maintenance and audit trail, so clinical engineering can show where equipment is and what was done to it.

5. Cybersecurity
The rule: The National Cybersecurity Authority publishes the Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC-2:2024). They apply to government bodies and critical national infrastructure operators and are a useful baseline for others.
How Tag’n’Track helps: Choose cloud, hybrid or on-premise hosting and give each role the access it needs, so your security team can map the platform to the controls that apply to you.

6. Personal data (PDPL)
The rule: The Personal Data Protection Law and its Implementing Regulations, issued by SDAIA in September 2023, set rules for personal data, including transfers outside the Kingdom.
How Tag’n’Track helps: You decide what is collected, and attendance, visitor and access data can stay on infrastructure you choose. Your legal team confirms the transfer rules.

7. Radio equipment (CST)
The rule: The Communications, Space and Technology Commission sets the technical specifications and approval for radio equipment sold in the Kingdom, including RFID readers.
How Tag’n’Track helps: We confirm the approval status of readers and tags before they are ordered, so hardware is cleared before it ships.

8. International standards
The rule: Many Saudi organisations also work to ISO 55001 (asset management), ISO/IEC 27001 (information security) and the ISO/IEC 18000-63 (EPC Gen2) standard for UHF RFID.
How Tag’n’Track helps: Tag’n’Track provides the asset records, history and standard-based tracking these frameworks rely on. Certification stays with you and your auditor.

Where this applies
Plan your project
- List the items you need to track and who is responsible for each.
- Check which rules apply to your sector and your data.
- Confirm the approval status of the readers and tags you plan to buy.
- Decide where data is hosted and who can see it.
- Start with a pilot at one site, then scale.
